About me
Hello, my name is Arushi Dube & I'm 23. Before coming to Ireland, I have done my graduation in commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics and gained my work experience from the financial capital (Mumbai) of India.
While working with one of the best investors, I gained strong experience in equity stock market research and client communication. Moreover, I was able to propel client portfolios to peak performances and became adept at strategic and financial planning.
Currently, I am pursuing Masters in Management Consultancy at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Dublin. Studying at Smurfit has provided me with in-depth academic knowledge and practical insights into consulting business. I also got an opportunity to be a part of three varied consulting projects across different industries.
My interests lie in travelling and culture exploration as only last year I managed to travel across 8 countries. Besides, I love to try out different adventure sports. (To have a closer look at my travel journey so far, check out my Interests section).

While working with Parva Consulting, I conducted gap analysis of ‘T2-T2S Consolidation’ on European Banking Industry. This lead to the identification of commercial opportunities for Parva in various domains such as software testing and process improvement. Throughout the project, I was successful in generating leads for the team to support our exploratory research. And ultimately, I delivered actionable recommendations for client’s Irish, Luxembourg and Italian market to support adoption of new infrastructure.

At Edelweiss, I was part of a team of six, and was responsible to maintain interpersonal relationships with 50+ clients. I was accountable to execute trade order of the clients, considering size of the order, and the prevailing market conditions. Moreover, I designed mutual funds and equity stock portfolios for clients by computing risk appetite and financial goals. And on daily basis, I liaised with Portfolio Managers to keep them informed of clients impacting respective portfolios.

During these couple of months, I undertook finance and marketing training, including topics such as equity, FOREX, Intraday trading sessions and market research. I conceptualized and implemented an individual final project ‘Financial Planning for Life’. Also, I received ‘Outstanding performer’ award for generating highest brokerage revenue of approximately 1,500 euros per year.
Volunteering
I was part of National Social Service club of NM College for two years (2014-2016). Being elected as a camp leader to guide 50 students for a ‘7 Day Residential Camp’ was one of my biggest achievements till date. During these seven days, I supervised events and tasks to be performed onsite, undertook budget and resource planning, coordinated activities with village heads and provided voluntary service to more than 500 rural students.

Happy Hub: Business Plan

I collaborated with multicultural team to devise a business plan pertaining to employee health and wellbeing at workplace. My core duties involved conducting financial and risk analysis along with exploratory research. Apart from the technical work, this project helped me build intercultural competence. From having ideation brainstorming sessions to presenting our final products to investors, I learned a lot throughout this project from my teammates.
Application of Change Kaleidoscope Model on ‘Zomato’
​
As a part of my 'Managing Organisational Change Module, I assessed change management in an actual organisation- ‘Zomato’ (Indian food supply chain). I examined the Zomato through the lens of the Change Kaleidoscope Model and studied its various organisational change contexts: Time, Preservation, Diversity, Readiness and many more. Finally, conducted analysis on the approach taken by Zomato to manage the reconstruction change.
Virtual Headway: A virtual Onboarding Corporate Program

Over a period of six weeks, my team developed a corporate training module revolving around virtual onboarding. As a part of this project, I gained hands-on experience with a plethora of project management tools and frameworks such as Gantt Chart, stakeholder analysis and many more.
